I suppose it’s chic to be a foodie these days. I know there are a million amateurs out there who go from restaurant to restaurant blogging about their experiences, or Instagramming their plates. I know it annoys some people, especially professional chefs.

But I don’t care, I love food, and I love to write, so I’m going to blog about it, too. If you can’t beat them, join them, right?
